How long does it take to apply the vehicle wrap?

Depending upon the design and complexity or the vehicle layout, it can take one to three days. You may be required to make arrangements without your vehicle, which is why we give you $75 up front to cover the cost of a rental car, taxi, or other form of transportation.

Will the wrap damage my paint?

No. When applied and removed correctly, a wrap will actually protect your paint! The only time wrapping may affect the vehicle is if it has an obviously defective paint job or the paint was already damaged prior to installation. You should avoid getting your car wrapped if your paint is oxidized, cracked, peeling or has been repainted due to age or accident; the paint may be damaged upon removal.

Can I take my vehicle through the carwash after it is wrapped?

No! Gas For Half requires that you do not use wax on any portion of the wrap - just soap and water. Also, make sure to avoid high pressure washes because the spray can actually tear the vinyl or cause seams to lift.

What is the proper care for my wrap?

Hand washing with soft non-abrasive sponge is the best method. Avoid high pressure washes because that spray can actually tear the vinyl or cause seams to lift. Also, be careful to never use an ice scraper.
